What is your favourite styling tip?

Staying true to yourself is the start of any creative expression. Whether it be an outfit, a room or a home - I ask myself, would this say 'Cassandra' without me being there to explain it?

What is your favourite Coricraft piece in your home?

Currently, the Laurel console is my favourite piece in my house. I keep styling it differently, and it completely changes the feeling of my living space.

We love that you layered your rugs. Tell us a little more about the thinking behind that.

Layering creates depth. For example, when you cook, you layer different flavours to create depth of flavour. My rugs having completely different textures and geometric designs, together, add a welcomed depth in the lounge.

2023 is here, what are the trends you are most looking forward to?

(1) The importance of the curator - with the amount of access we all have to information these days, it's becoming more and more important for people to lean into the voices they trust to filter the information. That is the work of curators - making sense of all the noise. (2) I'm looking forward to maximalism in the coming year. There is an energy of more is more which I'm ready to embrace fully. (3) Neutral, lighter tones have been dominating in the past 2-3 years due to their calming effect. I feel deeper tones of earthy colours is a direction I am looking forward to exploring. (4) Terrazo & Mosaic for flooring & finishes are making a much welcomed comeback. A departure from the large tile profile with the concrete look. (5) Statement lighting is IN.
