You recently renovated your home in Hermanus. How was the process? What were the highs and lows?
The process was amazing! I know what I want and I run a killer spreadsheet. If you know exactly what you want and are particular about finishes and placements, not a lot can go wrong. There were honestly no lows, other than when it was done. I’m itching for a new one.

As the Queen of DIY, what is your favourite interior DIY tip?
Just try it. I think a lot of people are intimidated by DIY but with the right tools and materials it’s often not as complicated as it looks. Check out Misha’s Instagram to see her DIY projects!

What is your favourite Coricraft piece in your home?
That’s like making me choose a favourite child. My favourite would have to be our Indiana modular couch because it anchors the living area and it’s the ideal spot for lazy, salty, post-swim naps. It’s a gathering space which makes it an important piece in our home and I’m so happy I chose it. It also has a slipcover which means it’s easy to clean!

2023 is here, what are the trends you are most looking forward to?
I’m definitely aiming for a slower, more mindful and connected year this year. The trend I’m most excited for is the one that’s the opposite of ‘hustle’. It’s about slowing down, resting, and taking care. If a home can help you achieve those things, you’re winning.
